So how does consignment work?

We know it looks like a lot of info, but we really just want you to know everything up front. Check out our guidelines and FAQs below and give us a call at 608.563.2626 if you still have any questions or if you need to set up an appointment for a larger batch.

Consignment Guidelines

1) Consignments of 10 pieces or less may be dropped off any time Thursday through Saturday with no appointment. Appointments are available Monday through Wednesday for up to 25 pieces. Please call to schedule an appointment. Please bring items freshly laundered and neatly folded in a disposable plastic or paper bag. We cannot accept items in boxes or bags larger than the 13-gallon kitchen size.

2) Adult clothing must be size 14 or XL and up. Shoes must be at least size 8. We accept all styles and brands including casual, formal, business, maternity, scrubs, swimwear, lingerie and coats. We also accept purses, wallets, and accessories for consignment. Items are accepted seasonally. Costume jewelry may be purchased outright upon acceptance of a purchase offer. All purchase offers are final.

3) Children’s clothing must be size preemie or newborn to children’s size 12. We accept all styles of clothing for boys and girls in excellent condition. We also accept all sizes of maternity as well as accessories, shoes, specialty wear like sports or dance clothing, crib bedding, and diaper bags.

4) Gear like strollers and pack n plays and small furniture like cribs and changing tables are accepted by appointment only and must come in assembled or be assembled on site by the consignor. A picture of the item and its attached product description label must be submitted via text or email so we can precheck for recalls. Items under recall will not be accepted. Info can be found at cpsc.gov. Cribs must have fixed sides and no gear or furniture may be older than 6 years old. Car seats and toys will not be accepted.

5) Clothing and accessories must be no older than three years, freshly laundered, in style, in season, and in excellent condition, i.e. no holes, stains, buttons missing, worn cuffs, broken zippers, etc. We also cannot accept items with the tags cut out or with pet hair or strong odors. Items that do not meet our guidelines in any way will be donated or disposed of. Please check your items carefully before drop-off to ensure all criteria are met.

6) Prices will be set by store management and all merchandise in stock are subject to store coupons and special sales or clearance. A $1.00 fee will be charged for each item picked up before the end of the consignment period.

7) Consignors will receive 40% of the sale price for all sold items for a period of 90 days. Any unsold merchandise at the end of the consignment period will become the property of Perfectly Plus LLC and may be donated to local charities at the discretion of management. There is no payment for unsold merchandise. Consignors may request a receipt of donated items for their tax purposes.

8) Payouts will be done in cash or store credit on request. Only the consignor or a representative designated on their consignor contract will be allowed to receive payouts or account information. Checks will only be mailed by request and a $2.00 mailing fee will be deducted from the account balance prior to mailing. A $5 fee will be deducted each month for account balances that have been inactive for more than 12 months.

9) Perfectly Plus LLC is not responsible for loss from theft, fire, flood, or damage during consignment. Perfectly Plus LLC reserves the right to make changes to this contract at any time.
